Part of the process was to turn the sculpture so the cement didn't fall off.

Pyramid Woman 3 is now finished.

First finished sculptures of 2010

Have started sanding 'Pyramid Woman 3'.  For finished sculptures go to http://amandahewitt.tumblr.com/

Have finally finished 'La femme enceinte 9' and 'Pyramid Woman 2' (No.2).  The final polish will go on tomorrow.   'Pyramid Woman 3' is out of her mould and I've started to sand her down.  For finished sculptures go to   http://amandahewitt.tumblr.com/

Not much sculpting going on as I am recovering from flu but I have been playing with my sculptures in the landscape. Normal sculpture making will resume shortly.  For finished sculptures go to http://amandahewitt.tumblr.com/

My first experience of a cast from a silicone mould made by me.  It is very wrinkly and has needed a lot of filing and filling (see above) before I can even start the filing.   For finished sculptures go to  http://amandahewitt.tumblr.com/
